Thomas Evans

Thomas Evans, born 1651 in Merionethshire, Wales, son of Evan “Lloyd” Evans and Catherine Lloyd Verch WYNN of Llanfor, Merionethshire, Wales. Thomas Evans died on October 12, 1738, in Pennslyvania. He is buried at Entriken Family Cemetery in West Chester, Pennslyvania. Thomas Evans's other wives were Ann Marie, and Hannah Price Davis.

                       1.1    Morris William Evans, born 1675 in Wales. He married in 1696 in                                                                           Virginia, British Colonial America. Jane Margaret GIBSON, (a native woman).

                       1.2.   Frances Evans, born 1685. Her children may have been Thomas Evans,                                                               Frances Evans, born 1705, and Sarah Evans. Frances Evans died about 1771  in Virginia.

                       1.3.   Charles Evans, born 1696 in Charles City, Virginia. On August 20, 1747, he received a                                        patent for 120 acres on Stith‘s Creek in the part of Brunswick which later became                                              Lunenburg in 1748 and Mecklenburg in 1748.

                       1.4    Ann Evans, born about 1713 in Virginia, British Colonial America. Ann is included but                                     the date of her birth appears to unlikely that she was born at this time. Her information                                   is included to ensure this information is provided to you. Ann Evans, married Robert                                       Evans, and she died before 1748 in Bristol Parish, Prince George Virginia.
